The Thursday Vocal Jazz Series was established to spotlight established singers as well as up-and-coming Twin Cities vocalists. This week at Jazz Central Studios we welcome Martha Alkins!
Martha Alkins is an up-and-coming singer on the Twin Cities music scene. She will be singing traditional jazz from the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s , 60’s and 70’s – “Generations of Jazz” for her JCS performance. Joining Martha will be David Martin on bass and Ian Carlton on keys.
