Minneapolis Public Schools and Jazz88 present the second annual J.A.M. (Jazz Around Minneapolis) Fall Festival, featuring The Adam Meckler Orchestra, an 18-piece big band, as well as some of Minneapolis’ most talented high school students. The concert is the culmination of a full day of jazz workshops for high schoolers facilitated by MPS band teachers, Adam Meckler, and other professional jazz musicians. Involving students from all seven Minneapolis high schools, J.A.M. showcases their performance skills and jazz talents. Donations will be accepted at the door.
