The Selby Ave JazzFest is a free community-oriented event featuring lively jazz music, great food, local retail from artists and businesses, and fun family activities. It is held every year at the intersection of Selby and Milton in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The Selby Ave JazzFest has been steadily growing since its beginning in 2002. Mychael Wright, the owner of Golden Thyme Coffee Shop and the “father of the fest”, has described the event as “the biggest backyard party in St. Paul.”
In 2007, the Selby Ave JazzFest was awarded the title of “Best Neighborhood Jazz Festival” by Mpls St
Directions: Take I-94 to the Dale exit. Travel south on Dale until arriving at the Dale & Selby intersection. Turn right onto Selby and travel west until you arrive at the Selby & Milton intersection.
