Born and raised in Minnesota, Paul studied music at the University of Minnesota Duluth under John Smith and George Hitt. He has been performing regularly since moving to St. Paul. He currently performs and has recently recorded with hortZ, CC Septet, Nova Jazz Orchestra, and the Century Big Band.
