Pete James Johnson is a Minnesota native now living in Los Angeles – but still calls Minnesota his home. He plays in groups in both California and Minnesota. Currently he plays with the Grammy award winning Bob Mintzer Big Band, in addition he works with Russell Ferrante, Alan Pasqua and trumpeter, Ambrose Akinmusire. Many of my favorite musicians to play with are in Minnesota and it is a treat to come home and play with them!
