New York & LA based saxophone legend Azar Lawrence (McCoy Tyner, Miles Davis, Elvin Jones) returns to Montreal, where he recorded the newly released CONDUIT album with Canadian saxophonist Al McLean in the spring of 2014.
The event kicks off the launch of CONDUIT, and Lawrence will be joined on stage by co-conspirator McLean. The duo's intense musical chemistry is riveting, as they freely launch themselves into Coltrane-inspired flights that can only be described as rapturous.
The band hits the studio on the following day, so this concert is sure to be hot.
