International Festival "the Triumph Of Jazz"

Triumph of Jazz is the largest jazz event and one the oldest festivals in Russia. The festival, launched by Igor Butman in 2000, is held now in Moscow (at Moscow House of Music, Igor Butman Club, musical colleges all over the city and Muzeon park) and St Petersburg (Gorky Concert Hall and Conservatory) and last for 4-6 days. For the past 17 years, the greatest jazz musicians, including TAKE 6, Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dave Holland, Gary Burton, Lee Konitz, Lee Ritenour, Roy Haynes, Toots Thielemans, Billy Cobham, Gino Vannelli, Gary Bartz, Alvin Jones, Ahmad Jamal, Randy Brecker, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Mike Stern and a few hundred other real legends! Since 2015, under the main program “Triumph” is the “Children's Triumph of Jazz”, which includes a contest, photo exhibition, clinics of famous musicians and a gala concert in the House of Music
