Adair Solee Quartet at Jazz At The Mill

The Adair-Solee Quartet will be performing at Lebanon's JAZZ AT THE MILL on Saturday, April 20th, at 6pm.

Beegie Adair cites George Shearing, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson and Erroll Garner among her influences. She has recorded and appeared on over 100 CDs (35 of which are recorded with her trio), ranging from Cole Porter standards to Frank Sinatra classics to romantic World War II ballads. Her 6-CD Centennial Composers Collection of tunes by Rodgers, Gershwin, Kern, Ellington, Carmichael and Berlin became an instant collectible classic upon its release.

Denis Solee has lived in Nashville since 1974 and has been heard and recorded in virtually every style of music. Denis has played in military bands, symphony orchestras, Broadway shows, big bands, and small groups. He has appeared on radio, TV, films, and recordings for artists from Ray Stevens to Ray Charles; Mel Tillis to Mel Torme; Louis Bellson, Sammy Davis, Jr., Sarah Vaughn, Amy Grant, Liberace, Aretha Franklin.... and the list goes on. In 1982, the Adair-Solee Quartet was formed. Together, the two friends and colleagues have played sold out performances and have played together on multiple recordings. Rounding out the Adair-Solee Quartet are Roger Spencer on bass and Chris Brown on drums.
