In celebration of the 22nd anniversary of The St. Paul Senior Living Community, the Chesser Kats will offer a program of classical American jazz at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, October 22, in Hathaway Hall.
Following introductory remarks by John Rochford, the sextet will play tunes by George Gershwin, Victor Young, Jobim, George Shearing, Duke Ellington, and Charlie Parker.
The Kats consist of Bob Ervin, trumpet and vocals; James Chesser, guitar; Duane Kilby, saxophone; Roger Parker, piano; Jon Tapp, drums; and Wayne Renardson, acoustic bass.
The St. Paul is located at 5031 Hillsboro Road in Nashville.
