Snap On 2&4 W/ Sandra Dudley at Nashville Jazz Workshop

On Friday, Aug 11th at 8pm the Nashville Jazz Workshop presents vocalist Sandra Dudley. Joining Sandra will be Lori Mechem on piano, Roger Spencer on bass and Duffy Jackson on drums.

Currently teaching at Belmont University in Nashville, Sandra is one of Nashville's foremost vocal talents. She has performed with such jazz greats as Fred Hersch, Barney Kessel, Bobby Millitello and was the featured vocalist with The Nelson Riddle Band. In 1998 she was a winner of Jazziz Magazine's "Vocals on Fire" Jazz Original Song Competition with "Billie". Sandra holds a B.M. from State University of New York and a Master of Music from Eastman School of Music in Vocal Performance. Sandra's first solo CD "Close To You", was released in 2003 on Bella Records....

The performance starts at 8pm. Doors open at 7:15. There will be two sets in the Jazz Cave at the Workshop. Admission is $25 / $15 high school and college students with ID. Tickets will go on sale Monday July 31 at 10AM and will be available online on this page, by phone 24/7 at Brown Paper Tickets (800-838-3006) or during business hours at the NJW office (242-5299). A small convenience charge is added to online or 800-number purchases.

Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones. Audio and video recording is prohibited. Ticket sales are final.
