Artvark Saxophone Quartet is distinctive and groundbreaking. Also because of the collaborations with artists from other art disciplines such as dance, film and literature. At Jazz on the Sofa they play parts from their latest program "Trance". The four saxophonists mix their different backgrounds into a unified, original sound. The company, which has already played in England and South Africa, and at major festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival and Cairo Jazz Festival, shimmers, hums and imagines.
