The highly-praised Children of the Light Trio is also known as the fantastic rhythm section of Wayne Shorterâs quartet. Without the great frontman, however, this trio is more than worthy. The trio, with Panamanian Danilo PeÌrez on keyboard, made a great impression at North Sea Jazz with its jazz interspersed with African and South-American influences.
