Klez-Edge (our quartet version of Klezmokum) has 3 concerts coming up in Holland including a concert that will be recorded in Amsterdam at the Martin Luther Kerk on 29 April.  We have all new material that focuses on the fact that klezmer and jazz have a long time close affiliation.  For example we do an updated version of two klezmer classics: Yikhes and Yiddish Blues.  Both pieces have a history of at least 100 years and anyone with a discerning ear can hear the jazz as well as the klezmer roots of this music!  Another example that I have extended of more recent origin is Indian Judaic Song...

Of course!  It's in the classic Jewish mode Ahava Raba  (used originally in penitential prayers).  Come to hear what is new and familiar at the same time!
