Studio Baumgarten

Studio Baumgarten releases straight ahead jazz CD's by Dutch jazzbands building forth on the North american jazz tradition. The music Studio Baumgarten releases contributes to the jazz tradition; we do not release CD's full of jazz standards in traditional settings. Studio Baumgarten is interested in original compositions and different sounds. Also, the Dutch or European background of the musicians should be heard in the music they play for an authentic sound. Besides this Studio Baumgarten also produces jazz CD's that are the result of special, outstanding projects.
