Guitarist Gene Bertoncini was an early protégé of Buddy Rich, and a member of the NBC Tonight Show Orchestra, and has longtime associations with Tony Bennett and Benny Goodman. Vibraphonist Mike Mainieri is an accomplished composer who has produced three Carly Simon albums and recorded with Dire Straits, Laura Nyro, David Sanborn, and Michael Franks. This all-star duo will co-lead a quartet as part of a Bertoncini-led CD recording project.
