Look for the Silver Lining with Daryl Sherman at New Jersey Performing Arts Center

Following an astonishing 14-year run at the Waldorf-Astoria, vocalist-pianist Daryl Sherman makes her NJPAC debut with an afternoon devoted to Jerome Kern, the father of modern American musical theater. Daryl Sherman has been a part of the New York City jazz and cabaret scenes since the mid-1970s, one of the rare singer-pianists equally adept in both roles. Sherman is a unique stylist at the keyboard, charming, quick-witted, and able to make herself at home in any musical setting. When Artie Shaw formed a new band after his retirement, Sherman was his chosen singer.
