The legend of Benny Golson can be told through his great works as a composer and a player. Golson penned popular jazz standards such as “Killer Joe,” “I Remember Clifford,” “Stablemates” and “Along Came Betty.” He also wrote for a number of well-known TV series, including M.A.S.H., The Partridge Family, and Mission: Impossible. From then until now, he remains one of the premiere hard-bop tenor saxophonists. He is back by popular demand as a soloist with the 18-piece WP Jazz Orchestra.

All tickets are an additional $3 on show day.

Each Jazz Room concert is preceded by a “Sittin’ In” meet-the-artist session one hour prior to performance. Free to all ticket holders. Audience members have a chance to meet and interact with that day’s artist in a question-answer format.
