Firehouse 12's ongoing 2010 Fall Jazz Series will present the world premiere of a new collaboration between Spanish pianist Agustí Fernández and New Haven-born guitarist Joe Morris. These two internationally renowned improvisers will perform live following a day of recording at the venue's state-of-the-art studio. Each brings more than two decades of experience working under their own names, as well as with such legendary figures as Anthony Braxton, Lawrence "Butch" Morris, Barry Guy, Evan Parker, William Parker, Matthew Shipp and David S. Ware among many others.
