The Albert Rivera Quintet is a unique group consisting of a modern jazz sound which takes influences from varies eras including the Hard Bop era and combining it with Funk, Soul and Modern Jazz. Know as the "Electric" band, it includes both Electric Guitar and both Acoustic Piano and Electric keyboards, Albert and his ensemble perform both originals (Albert was a previous recipient of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award), and modern takes on jazz classics.
