Renard & Friends at Park City Music Hall

After Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans in 2005, Renard Boissiere (NardyBoy, Talking Dreads, Mystic Bowie) found himself in search of like-minded musicians for projects as different as The Freelance Pallbearers & Rambunction. Having curated a songlist of 200+ covers in addition to a wide variety of originals, he began to fill a particular niche in small local venues. What started out as an acoustically-anchored solo then duo act, Renard & Friends performed as a three-, four-, or more piece combo and found a home at The Green Room on Thursday nights.
