Breckerville is a unique jazz sextet dedicated to celebrating the music of The Brecker Brothers, trumpeter Randy and the late great saxophonist Michael. The band consists of six veteran players: trumpeter Bob Ferguson, saxophonist Carl Cox drummer Vic Stevens, bassist Andy Lalasis, guitarist Matt McCloskey, keyboardist Demetrios Pappas. What makes the group unique is that Breckerville celebrates the compositions of The Brecker Brothers, Steps Ahead and other “super groups’ the Brecker brothers assembled. The music selections are based on the original compositions of Randy, Michael, Joey Calderazzo, Don Grolnik, Warren Bernhardt and vibist Mike Mainieri of Steps Ahead. Formed in 2012 Breckerville continues to push these musical boundaries by embellishing on the complex improvisational, rhythmic, and harmonic writings through live performances. Breckerville brings the music of the Jazz Rock Fusion era to a new generation of listener.

Jazz Bridge, an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to assisting Greater Philadelphia Metro area and New Jersey shore jazz and blues musicians and vocalists in times of crisis, sponsors these neighborhood concerts throughout the region to keep the sound of Philadelphia alive.
