Evan Christopher's 6th Annual International Jam Session at Little Gem Saloon

In 2009, Evan Christopher began hosting a jam session for all the visiting musicians and true fans of traditional New Orleans music on the Monday after French Quarter Fest weekend. These jam sessions have boasted visitors of well over a dozen nationalities sharing a stage to commune around their passion for New Orleans music traditions. This year, the "International Jam Session" moves to the historic Little Gem Saloon with a nonpareil rhythm section of Don Vappie (guitar/banjo), Peter Harris (bass) and the "King of Tremé" himself, Shannon Powell on drums.

Music 7-10pm. Doors at 6:30pm. $15 at the door. A special "a la carte" menu will be available and a complimentary cocktail (wine, beer, well drink) for participating guest musicians....
