A songstress balancing between the sounds of jazz and world music, Maria Marquez has been a musical force in Venezuela and the US for more than thirty years. Marquez will perform in New Orleans for "Noche Tropical", a night of Latin Jazz. She will share the stage with other acclaimed musicians known throughout New Orleans and the world such as Cindy Scott, Sasha Masakowski, Jose-Miguel Yamal, Steve Masakowski, Peter Harris, and A.J. Hall.
