Optimistic Voices -Jazz cabaret duo Ann Osmond & Dennis Yerry sing songs thatcelebrate the indomitable human spirit as it searches for love and meaning along the bumpy road of life. From Gershwin to Sondheim to Jobim to Stevie Wonder, their eclectic program includes music spanning many decades and styles.

Ann Osmondis a singer and actor with roots in the theatre and Dennis Yerry is an accomplished jazz pianist and composer. Their unique arrangements and rich harmonies have a fresh energy and an air of timeless elegance.

Ann Osmond originated the role of Carlyle in “The Stonewater Rapture”, by Pulitzer and Tony award-winning playwright Doug Wright, which earned a Fringe First award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Other favorites include the title role in “Tamara” (Los Angeles production), Jessica in “Lust and Pity” at the West Bank Café, and the musical “Strider” at TheatreWorks, Palo Alto. Recent film credits include the role of “Cindy” in “Peace, Love and Misunderstanding” (dir.Bruce Beresford, starring Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener), to be released in 2012. www.annosmond.com...
