Celebration of Sheila Jordan Kicks off "jazz Soup" Series at Metropolitan Room

Sheila Jordan will be honored at the Metropolitan Room in NYC on November 11 at 7pm in conjunction with the release of “Jazz Child: A Portrait of Sheila Jordan” by Ellen Johnson (the first complete biography of this legendary singer’s life). This tribute also serves as the kick-off of Laurie Krauz’s monthly jam presenting some of NY’s most exciting jazz vocalists (thus beginning with the most exciting one of them all being serenaded by some of her favorite vocalists!). Accompanied by the Daryl Kojak Trio (Daryl Kojak, piano; Cameron Brown, bass; Dwayne “Cook” Broadnax, drums).
