Alex Cummings Quartet at

Alexander Cummings, a saxophonist, flutist, composer, and teacher; is a recent graduate of Oberlin Conservatory. During his stay at Oberlin, he was under the mentorship of Gary Bartz, Billy Hart, Paul Samuels, Robin Eubanks, Wendall Logan, and other musical legends at his institution. Alex's musical influences are grounded from his neighborhood schools and local churches in his hometown, Camden, New Jersey, under the instruction of Camden community heroes, Jamal Dickerson, Nasir Dickerson and Hassan Sabree.
