Anat’s brother, trumpeter Avishai Cohen, is another rising star and one of the most important jazz musicians to emerge from Israel. A member of the all-star SFJAZZ Collective, he is also the co-leader of the eclectic world-jazz group Third World Love and has worked with the likes of John Zorn, Jason Lindner, Lionel Loueke and Dafnis Prieto, among others. Avishai has released a number of heralded albums, including his most recent, Flood, which features a unique trio of trumpet, piano and percussion.
