Israeli saxophonist and composer Uri Gurvich was hailed as "a major new voice in jazz" (All Music Guide) and his music has been described as "transcending borders" (LA Times). He brings his longtime quartet to Cornelia St. Cafe to present new globally influenced work from his upcoming album, as well as music by celebrated Israeli composer Sasha Argov.
