Jazz Night is a seventy-five minute performance highlighting music from the forefathers of Jazz such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Dizzy Gillespie, and original compositions by drummer Stix Bones.
And what else can one say of Stix Bones? He is not only a great musician/composer, but a consummate showman and entertainer as well. Hailing from the borough of Brooklyn, he received his BA degree in Jazz Performance from Purchase College, State University of New York. It was there that Stix was given the name BONE by his fellow musicians, an acronym for “Brother of Noble Excellence,”
