Kai Hoffman is bringing her “Do It While You Can” show to New York City for the very first time on Sunday, 23rd November 2014 at 4pm at the internationally-acclaimed jazz cabaret The Metropolitan Room. With “Do It While You Can”, Kai takes her listeners on an intimate and sometimes cheeky journey through lovers, litigation and loss ­whilst proving that contagious laughter really is the best medicine. “A high­-energy performer with much individuality in her approach … using the richness of her voice to great effect, and also displaying fine pitch and great phrasing. [Kai is] one of the finest vocalists and performers around on the scene today.” (Ray Gelato, for London Jazz Blog). Kai will be joined at the Metropolitan Room by the fantastic rhythm section of Tedd Firth, piano (Michael Feinstein, Marilyn Maye), Tom Hubbard, double bass, (Liza Minnelli, Sheila Jordan), and Daniel Glass, drums (Brian Setzer, Bette Midler).
