This will be the debut show of three long time collaborating musicians from Israel. The trio gathered around the shared vision of fluidity and openness in playing, simplicity of form and ideas and clear statements. In a sarcastic but serious tone they will play all original tunes by Micha Gilad. Each composed to feed the trio with flexible materials, juxtaposing familiar sound worlds and colors to create new ones. Jumping between light and heavy the music pulls from and yet questioning the norms of the trio format and Jazz vocabulary.
