Paul Jost at 55 Bar

Vocalist, musician, arranger and composer Paul Jost continues his monthly residency at 55 Bar. Jost has been performing worldwide with recent tours in South Korea and Ireland and a performance in Germany at the JazzAhead international conference and expo. His CD 'Breaking Through' (Dot Time Records) has been getting raves worldwide. Recently commissioned by Exit Zero Jazz Festival to interpret Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run' album as jazz, Paul headlined the concert there and performs it frequently, including last month for a live recording of the album at The Bitter End. Paul’s vocals are so soulful that music journalist Buster Maxwell wrote, 'He nearly single-handedly reclaims the male voice as a valid and critically important jazz instrument.' Peter McLaren in Jazz in Europe reviewed Jost’s recording Breaking Through and said, “Paul Jost has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with and an artist that deserves to be seen on all great festival stages worldwide.”...
