Paul Jost Quartet at Jazz at Kitano

Vocalist, musician, arranger and composer Paul Jost brings his special magic to Jazz at Kitano with his select trio of musicians. Jost has been performing worldwide with recent tours in South Korea and Ireland and a performance in Germany at the JazzAhead international conference and expo. His CD "Breaking Through" (Dot Time Records) has been getting raves worldwide. Recently commissioned by Exit Zero Jazz Festival to interpret Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" album as Jazz, he headlined the concert there and performs it frequently, including last month for a live recording at The Bitter End. Paul’s vocals are so soulful that music journalist Buster Maxwell wrote, "He nearly single-handedly reclaims the male voice as a valid and critically important jazz instrument."
