Pianist/Vocalist Andy Kahn appears regularly in Philadelphia venues like World Café Live, The Prime Rib and Hedgerow Theatre. At Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City, he headlined his solo stage show "Music by Intention" in their Starlight Room. Andy's performances are flavored with
personal jazz interpretations of The Great American Songbook popular standards. He achieved international notoriety when he wrote, arranged and produced the Number 1 dance hit "Hot Shot" performed by vocalist Karen Young, earning him his first gold record in 1978. Andy continues to write, perform and lecture on jazz and popular standards, America's unique contribution to music and the arts. He is also a performing "Artist in Residence" for Jacobs Music Company, representing Steinway & Sons.
