Although he is a long-time trombonist, Scott Reeves also specializes in the unique ‘alto flugelhorn,’ for which he received nomination in the Downbeat Critic’s Poll under the miscellaneous instrument category. Rich Perry is one the most widely respected improvisers on tenor sax. His unique style graces the Vanguard Orchestra (and previously the Mel Lewis Orchestra), the John Fedchock big band and the Maria Schneider Orchestra. He appears on dozens of recording, including projects with Lee Konitz, Harold Danko, Tom Harrell, Joe Magnarelli and many others. Rich has recorded extensively under his own name and teaches saxophone at City College of New York and William Paterson University.

Pianist Mike Holober is a renowned conductor and composer. He is the musical director of the Westchester Jazz Orchestra and co-director of the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop. He also leads his Gotham Jazz Orchestra and his quintet featuring bassist John Patitucci. Mike is also a professor of music at the City College of New York.

Bassist Mike McGuirk’s fluent style, reminiscent of the legendary Scott LaFaro, has made him one of the most sought-after bassists on the New York scene. He plays with artists such as John Abercrombie, Renee Rosnes and Mark Copland.

Drummer Andy Watson has performed and recorded with an impressive list of artists, including Toshiko Akiyoshi big band, the Westchester Jazz Orchestra, the Vanguard Orchestra, Bill Frisell, Benny Golson Jim Hall, Tom Harrell, Jon Hendricks, Woody Herman, Joe Lovano, Wynton Marsalis, Marian McPartland, James Moody, Mike Stern and Lew Tabackin.
