Jazz vocalist Janet Planet returns to the Metropolitan Room to celebrate the release of her latest recording "Janet Planet Sings the Bob Dylan Songbook Vol 1." Her astute and provoking interpretations of Mr. Dylan's work add another chapter to the Great American narrative. Without skipping a beat, Ms. Planet craftily intermingles tales from Blossom Dearie, Cole Porter, Jon Hendricks, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Truman Capote and Harold Arlen for an evening of sassy strains and lingering lyric.
