Veteran bassist Dave Arenius has performed with jazz legends ranging from Michelle Hendricks, Don Menza, and Kenny Kirkland; to Anthony Braxton, Roscoe Mitchell, and Archie Shepp. He’s contributed his deep sound and fertile imagination to Western New York ensembles for many years. His Quartet will reimagine music by Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Charlie Parker, Ralph Towner, and others.
