Kelly Roberge's ALL OF US
is a solo act with multiple personalities whose names are Stan: keyboard/monome 64; Marty: nanopad drum. All of Us was formed by saxophonist Kelly Roberge in 2010. Performing several midi instruments and character sketches, Roberge takes
on the roles of a four member band which performs sax heavy compositions ranging from jazz to metal. Merging Roberge's love of music and improv comedy, the characters interact as real life people living ordinary lives in their respective communities. Backstory: Answering Kelly's craigslist post to create an online electrochestra in late 2009, Stan, Marty and Cecil met on skype to do some cyber jamming. Since all the members live all over the world (Illinois, Minnesota, England and Massachusetts) they have to rehearse online by linking up their computers, midi instruments and saxophone. Technology has allowed this band to exist in its rehearsal phase but live gigs require a lot of frequent flyer miles! ...
