Since the release of her debut album in 2006, Olivia has been described as Young, gifted and deutsch“ by the
international press and is claimed to be one of the rising stars of the European jazz scene. Being influenced
by the music of Stevie Wonder, Prince and The Beatles long before getting infected with „jazz“ by listening to Bill Evans’ album Waltz for Debby“ it is maybe more than a beautiful coincidence that her trio has been compared to his famous piano trio in terms of their vivid interplay.

Having released four albums as a bandleader and having performed throughout Germany, Europe and abroad (including the Carnegie Hall in NYC and jazz club Snug Harbor in New Orleans) she is currently collaborating with some musicians from New York.

Her repertoire, aside from their liberal interpretations of jazz standards, consists of Olivia’s new compositions which are song oriented, of great clarity and to be filled with joyful improvisation. Modern, effortless jazz songs that have the potential to become new contributions to the common property of the jazz repertoire.
