For over three decades jazz guitarist Woody Beckner has performed in venues up and down the east coast, from Boston to Florida, in groups ranging from duos to big bands.

Beckner has performed locally at the Virginia Beach Arts Festival, Jazz on Granby Street, Town Point Jazz Festival, Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Series at Christopher Newport. and in classical venues with The Virginia Symphony, The Williamsburg Symphonia and museum concerts, and as a featured guest on the National Public Radio Live Concert Series...

Beckner holds a position at the College of William and Mary in the Applied Music Program, and has appeared in their Ewell Concert Series. Beckner has recorded two CD's. His current release, "At First Glance", features original compositions.
