La Fiesta Latin Jazz Quintet includes award winning composer/pianist Steve Anderson, percussionist Ramon Ortiz, who is a native of the Dominican Republic, Andy Kleindienst, an all-around top musician on bass, and saxophonist/clarinetist/composer Gregg Gelb, winner of the Raleigh Medal of Arts 2018 and NC Arts Council Jazz Composers Award.
