Nicolay with The Hot at Nights at The Soapbox

The "Shibuya Session" is a collaboration between the Grammy nominated producer Nicolay (of The Foreign Exchange) and the Raleigh NC-based exploratory jazz trio The Hot At Nights, led by 8-string guitar virtuoso (and The Foreign Exchange guitarist) Chris Boerner with Matt Douglas on sax/woodwinds and Nick Baglio on drums.
Headlining this event will be a joint set between Nicolay (keyboards & synthesizers) and The Hot At Nights featuring the new interpretations and arrangements of eight instrumental compositions from Nicolay's 2009 album "City Lights Vol. 2: Shibuya" as well as other compositions from Nicolay’s catalog. In most cities, the Hot At Nights will open with a short set of their own material from their album “Nice Talk”....
