About

The Brazilian Endowment for the Arts (BEA) presents inside the musical program Music & Música, the group 46th street Theme. The group will perform Brazilian popular standards in new jazz arrangements.
Taking its name from the Brazilian district of Manhattan, 46th Street Theme is dedicated to honoring the Brazilian songwriting masters of the 50's, 60's and beyond. With great joy, these young but seasoned musicians of New York City bring their jazz sensibility to the compositions of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Hermeto Pascoal, Caetano Veloso and many others.
