About
Amanda Ruzza, a Brazilian who studies bass at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, brings to the University of the Street an extensive variety of sounds and musical influences derived from jazz harmony, South American rhythms and her Brazilian passion. Her international quintet: Mauricio Zottarelli and Fernando Arruda (Brazil), Chris Stover (USA) and Mamiko Watanabe (Japan); bring a wonderful contribution to the compositions, as every musician add some of his/her personal South American experience to it.
