Over the course of my eleven albums as a leader, I have been very lucky to record with some incredible musicians. The difference with my new album - Big Picture Holiday: Shimmer and Melt - is that it's an electric group playing funkified jazz and dance music. I spent quite a few days in the studio over the past year trying to get it 'just right' and --- lo and behold --- I think I actually did!!
