Accordionist Patrick Farrell and trumpeter Ben Holmes are fixtures on the Klezmer scene, and have collectively traveled to Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, and Hungary to study music. They combine music from these journeys with original writing, improvisation, the odd 60s pop chestnut, adaptations of works by Satie and Shostakovich, and all-abiding love of a good melody to present an exciting and unique program of music. Brunch is available at this show, but far more excitingly, a new recording might be available as well.
