My continuing curation of Brazilian Instrumental music is featuring my own band with original music in the Brazilian genres of Choro, Samba, Baiao and also featuring music of Edu Lobo, Baden Powell and Armandinho. My music explores the parallels between the urban experience in Brazil and New York and the musical language between Brazilian Instrumental and Jazz. You will hear the flavors of the past Maxixe,Samba-choro, bop etc... put in a modern context with plenty of space for the creative improvisers in the band
