Susana Santos Silva: It is almost impossible to believe that Santos Silva made her debut as the leader of various ensembles only seven years ago. Since then, the trumpet player has emerged as one of the key players of her genera­tion, whether in Portugal or much further afield. She is noted for her work with LAMA, a trio that brought out two albums with the reed player Joachim Badenhorst. Not long afterwards, she brought out an award-winning live album with De Beren Gieren. Torbjörn Zetterberg is a Swedish jazz musician (double bass) and composer, known from collaborations with Jonas Kullhammar, They have a number of recordsings together including four on Clean Feed. In addition, he has several recordings with Susana Santos Silva. He also has his own group "Torbjorn Zetterberg Hot Five".

Chris Pitsiokos (b. 1990) is a Brooklyn-based saxophonist, composer and improviser. Chris has been praised by Rolling Stone for his "startlingly original vision" and "astonishingly fleet sax work." Downbeat has identified his band CP Unit as "a persuasive combination of harmolodic jazz and contemporary noise rock." As a soloist he has developed a unique voice on the alto saxophone: his expansion of the instrument's vocabulary has served to multiply its emotive and formal capabilities. He has also worked with Nate Wooley, Paul Lytton, Peter Evans, Weasel Walter, Jaimie Branch, and Tyshawn Sorey.
