The Chris Bergson Band with Horns features trumpeter Freddie Hendrix (Dr. Lonnie Smith), tenor saxophonist David Luther (Bettye Lavette), baritone saxophonist Ian Hendrickson-Smith (Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings), organist Craig Dreyer (Dispatch), bassist Matt Clohesy (Kurt Rosenwinkel) and drummer Tony Leone (Phil Lesh and Friends). This is the "gut-busting, horn-bedecked NY blues" edition of the Chris Bergson Band that elicited MOJO's raves. They'll be performing horn arrangements by Jay Collins highlighting the band's new original material.
