Brothers Jai and Lee Jeffryes have been duking it out for a lifetime. Until now. Pianist Jai and drummer Lee competed for practice time growing up in their mid-Western home when their dad, James, wasn't giving music lessons. Featured on the program are two compositions by Gene Pritsker; 'Time Here Becomes Space III' and 'Essence', 'Late Day Thunder' by Peri Mauer and 'Suburbica' by Jai Jeffryes, which channels the Exotica of Martin Denny, reframing it to a mid-Western town not quite so... exotic. Also works by Rick Baitz, Seth Boustead, Vicky Cheng, Lee Jeffryes, Peter Jarvis, Mark Kostabi and Alan Sentman.
